On December 23, 2016, the new fee schedule for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) application and petition filing fees will go into effect.   Family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, and naturalization applications will all be affected.

For example, the I-130 Petition for an Alien Relative will go up from $420 to $535.  The I-129 Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker will go up from $325 to $460.  And the N-400 Application for Naturalization will go up from $595 to $640.

Waiver applications will see some of the more dramatic increases, with I-601 waivers set to go up from $585 to $930 (though I-601A waivers will only go up to $630).
