USCIS Launches Eligible to Naturalize Dashboard

September 17-23 marked Citizenship Day and Constitution Week at United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).  The agency reports that over 19,000 new citizens were sworn in during the week, including at Citizenship Day-themed ceremonies around the country.

In addition, USCIS launched a new Eligible to Naturalize Dashboard on its website. The Dashboard displays data on the number of lawful permanent residents (LPRs) who appear to be eligible to apply to become naturalized citizens but have not yet filed an application.

For Colorado, the Dashboard shows 157,797 total LPRs. Of those, 104,835 appear to be eligible to apply for naturalization. 

Data from the Dashboard can be broken down by nationality.  For Colorado, some notable numbers for nationalities from around the world are shown in the below table.
