2024 H-1B Lottery Dates

After several proposed rules, a final change in the lottery structure, and fees set to increase on April 1^st, USCIS is finally all set to begin the H-1B lottery process for 2024 (the FY 2025 H-1B lottery).  For those who are being entered, are entering individuals, or are considering entering individuals, here are the key dates to keep in mind:

• On February 28^th, Petitioners and Registrants can first begin creating their H-1B Registrant accounts as of noon Eastern;
• On March 6^th, the H-1B registration period officially opens at noon Eastern;
• On March 22^nd, the H-1B registration period will officially close as of noon Eastern;
• By March 31^st, USCIS intends to notify which registered beneficiaries have been selected to move forward with their actual H-1B petitions; and
• On April 1^st, H-1B petitions for those selected can begin to be filed.
