USCIS Rolling out Premium Processing Available for EB-1/EB-2

Following up on their previous announcement regarding the expansion of premium processing, USCIS has just announced that certain previously filed petitions will be eligible for premium processing in the coming months.

On June 1, 2022, if you had previously filed a Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers, on behalf of an E13 multinational executive or manager on January 1, 2021 or earlier, you will be able to upgrade the pending petition to premium processing.

On July 1, 2022, if you had previously filed a Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers, on behalf of an E21 professional holding an advanced degree or of exception ability seeking a National Interest Waiver on June 1, 2021 or earlier or on behalf of an E13 multinational executive or manager on March 1, 2021 or earlier, you will be able to upgrade these pending petitions to premium processing.

With premium processing, USCIS is expected to issue a decision on the case within 45 days. The filing fee for premium processing for these cases is expected to be $2,500.
