Individuals from El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Sudan who currently have Temporary Protected Status (TPS) now have additional time to re-register. On September 8, 2023, the Department of Homeland Security announced it was extending the re-registration period from just 60 days to 18 months for each of these countries.
Under the new deadlines, those with TPS from these countries must re-register before the following dates in order to request an extension of their TPS:
