Joseph & Hall at the AILA Annual Conference in New York

From June 15^th to 18^th, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) held its annual conference in New York City.  The annual conference is an opportunity for immigration practitioners from across the country to get together for expert discussions, critical updates, and innovative guidance. As the first in-person annual conference since the outbreak of COVID-19 and coinciding with a celebration of AILA’s 75^th Anniversary, this conference in New York was especially anticipated.

Joseph & Hall was proud to be well-represented at the conference. Partner Aaron Hall presented on a panel on Hot Topics and New Arguments in Removal Defense and moderated the ICE Open Forum. Partner Kirby Joseph presented on a panel on Practice Management and Building an Effective Team. Senior Attorney Jennifer Howard presented on Well-Being Practices for the Immigration Law Office. Paralegal Joseph Gomberg worked the conference as a day coordinator and attended sessions on employment-based immigration throughout the week.
