Client’s I-485 Application for Adjustment of Status was approved. Client is a high school student from El Salvador. He fled El Salvador alone and was designated as an unaccompanied alien child when he entered the United States and placed in removal proceedings. Client was reunited with distant family members, and Joseph & Hall P.C. successfully obtained a guardianship order from the Eagle County District Court, appointing one of client’s family members as his guardian. We then filed a Form I-360 Petition for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status with US Citizenship and Immigration Services and terminated proceedings with the immigration court when it was approved. Finally, our client adjusted his status with United States Citizenship and Immigration Service and is now a lawful permanent resident. Client has a bright future ahead of him!
